William Richard Henry Hanson, (Born 2 September 1989) is a British etiquette coach, Sunday Times bestselling author, and host of podcasts Help I Sexted My Boss and Keeping Up Appearances: The Luxury Podcast.
He is currently the Executive Director and Owner of The English Manner, an etiquette and protocol coaching company.
William Hanson was born on 2 September 1989 in Bristol to Brian and Sarah Hanson.
William's father, Brian, was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for political service in the 1996 Birthday Honours.
He boarded at Clifton College in Bristol before attending University of Manchester gaining a BA (Hons) in English Language, Literacy & Communication in 2011.
He is also credited as being an etiquette advisor on Ushi Must Marry (2013) and Red, White & Royal Blue (2023).
In February 2017, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA).
On 20 March 2018, with co-host Jordan North, the podcast Help I Sexted My Boss began, it has since released 441 episodes on Apple Podcasts as of 6 February 2024.
The podcast's signature cocktail, the Queen Mother, consisting of Gin and Dubonnet, was popularised by the podcast resulting in a nation-wide shortage of ingredients following the death of Elizabeth II in September 2022.
