Miss Globe is the world's oldest major international beauty contest, ranked seventh in the world for women at the international level, held annually since 1925 under the name Dream Girl International or Boston Globe.

The first winner of Miss Globe International called "Dream Girl International" in 1925 was identified as Alma F. Cavagnaro from the United States.

Miss Globe originated from a competition held at the Emek Cinema in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul in 1925.

It was conceived by one of the cinema's directors, Alen Mouradian, and organized to increase the interest of cinema audiences.

Arak Çetin became the owner of the crown and the first Miss Globe title.

However, newspapers and magazines wrote news that the competition was unfair.

On that basis, they argue that Arak Çetin was favored not because of his beauty and knowledge but because he worked as a showman in the cinema.

Fearing that this campaign against the cinema would be commercially damaging to the cinema, the operators announced that they were abandoning the competition at the end of the one-week period after the competition was announced.

The crown and title were given to Çetin bypassing Mouradian who went to the United States soon after this event and settled in New Hampshire.

He again organized the Miss Globe contest at the models' ball, symbolizing the arrival of spring in Winnipesauke.

At this competition, Alma Cavagnaro became the first winner of the crown and title of Miss Globe.

Miss Globe was registered in the Bureau of Patents and Trademarks of Washington, D.C. in 1925.

Currently, Miss Globe is produced simultaneously by three organizations.

The Miss Globe was first known to the public in 1925 with the name Dream Girl International.

The first official trademark registration of the Miss Globe Beauty Contest to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Registration Office was made in 1950.

The contest was organized by the international film business RCA.

In 2010, the pageant was split into three organizations.

Miss Globe International, based in Turkey, is produced annually (currently inactive event) by RCA Global Entertainment Co. and organized by Rasim Aydın.

Miss Globe based in Albania is organised by the Deliart Association and produced by Petri Bozo.

In 2016, a third organizer, Miss Globe Group Inc. based in Ontario, Canada also started to organize an annual Miss Globe pageant headed by Albert Xhaferri and Dickson Nomad Gods.
