Martins Vincent Otse (born 8 April 1996), known professionally as Very Dark Man (often stylized as Verydarkman) is a Nigerian blogger, media personality and influencer.
He originally gained recognition from his association with Nigerian singer Davido, and also known for his blog, being a human rights defender, and his controversial publications online.
Originally from Edo State, Otse was born in a Lagos State, to Nigerian parents.
He grew up as a Christian and had his secondary education in Lagos.
He studied Business administration at the University of Lagos and also bagged a degree.
Otse first started out as a motivational speaker in 2020, where he regularly visit schools and communities to share his thoughts and to empower the youths to pursue their dreams; he was an hairdresser.
In 2020, Otse began posting videos on TikTok which quickly gained popularity and caught the attention of medias.
In 2023, he gained recognition with his association with Nigerian singer Davido and Cubana Chief priest after his controversial publications online.
