Tereza "Tery" Valentová (born 20 February 2007) is a Czech tennis player.

She has been ranked as high as No. 646 in singles and No. 363 in doubles in the world by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

As a junior, she has No. 6 as her highest ranking.

In her early senior career, she already has won one doubles titles on the ITF Women's circuit, the $60k Olomouc in July 2023.

She reached final of the 2023 US Open in girls' event but lost to Katherine Hui.

While still playing in junior circuit, Valentová decided to experience herself at senior tournaments as well.

In May 2021, she was given a wilcard for the $25K Prague tournament qualifying.

Two month later, she get another qualifying wildcard but this time for WTA Tour level Prague Open.

In both occasions she failed to reach main-draw but then in November 2021 made her main-draw debut at the $25K Jablonec nad Nisou tournament.

Her journey then continued in August 2022 at the $60K Prague.

There she lost in the first round of both singles and doubles event, making here her doubles debut.

Her potentional was recognized given that she received wildcard for her first WTA 500 tournament at the Ostrava Open.

However, she lost in the qualifying.

In May 2023, on her first year-tournament, she recorded her first ITF main-draw win at the $60K Prague tournament.

A month later, she made big progress, where, as a wildcard player, she reached her first semi-finals at the $60K Říčany, where she lost to Elvina Kalieva.

On her way to the semi-finals, she did not drop a set.

Her next step was the $60K Olomouc tournament, where she went even further.

In singles, she reached new quarterfinal but in doubles, alongside her compatriot Magdaléna Smékalová, she won her first ITF and doubles title.

Two weeks later, at the 2023 Prague Open, she received wilcard for singles qualifications but lost in the first round to Dayana Yastremska.

With another wildcard, she made her Tour level debut in doubles alongside Nikola Bartůňková.

They defeated Jaqueline Cristian-Greet Minnen duo in the opening match.

Followed by the walkover in the next round, they lost to Quinn Gleason and Elixane Lechemia in the semi-finals.
