2015

He went on to get his first Super GT win at Motegi, and finished 15th in the standings.

Shinohara then moved to K2 R&D LEON Racing, replacing Togo Suganami.

He stayed with Naoya Gamou for 2023, and they claimed 4th place in the standings.
