She won a radio contest in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 1939, shortly after her high school graduation and was signed to a film contract that same day.

1941

She was an actress, known for Never Give a Sucker an Even Break (1941), Swing It Soldier (1941) and Miracle on Main Street (1939).

1942

She was considered for the role of Linda Mason in the 1942 musical "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire but lost the part to Marjorie Reynolds.

1948

Made her last picture in 1948 and spent the next six decades performing in supper clubs, local theatre, and even had her own one woman show. She officially retired in the Spring of 2000 after she celebrated her 80th birthday.
