For many years he was on "Saturday Night Live" doing various Day Player characters in a 50+ skits. He had his own show called The Henway Company for Public Broadcasting as actor and sketch writer. He directed, "The White Sheep" at Georgetown University, Washington DC, and "Enter Laughing" for Navel Training Center, also The Cold Wind And The Warm for the Jewish Rep, both in San Diego, CA. He stage managed Arthur Kopit's Indians and Noel Coward's Private Lives for Mission Playhouse in San Diego, and Ensemble Studio Theatre's Geliebteh, directed by Matthew Penn in New York.
