Roger Hammond (born 30 January 1974) is a male English retired bicycle racer, specialising in cyclo-cross and road cycling.

Hammond grew up in Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire and attended Dr Challoner's Grammar School as a teenager.

1992

While still at school he won the 1992 world junior cyclo-cross championship in Leeds, but elected to concentrate on his university studies before pursuing a cycling career.

1998

Hammond represented England in the road race event, at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2002

He repeated this achievement four years later at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

2003

He was the British road champion in 2003 and 2004.

2005

He rode for in 2005–2006, for in 2007–2008, for in 2009–2010, and in 2011.

Hammond rode for the Great Britain team in the 2005 and 2006 Tour of Britain.

2012

In July 2012 Roger Hammond was announced as the team manager of the newly formed Madison-Genesis team.

2015

In November 2015 he announced that he would join as a sports director for the 2016 season, initially combining the position with his Madison-Genesis role.

2019

He returned to Madison-Genesis for the team's last season in 2019.
