Richard M. T. Nilsson (born 28 December 1982) is a Swedish tech entrepreneur and business leader.
He was the co-founder and Managing Director of Lifestyle Asia and the CEO & Head of Digital Media for Burda International Asia.
Nilsson was born in Stockholm, Sweden and obtained his high school diploma from Östra Real Senior High School between 1999 and 2002.
From 2002 to 2004, Richard pursued further studies at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (under the Swedish School of Entrepreneurship at the time).
There, he earned his MBA degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/ Entrepreneurial Studies.
In 2004, Nilsson worked as a Team Leader at Salus Ansvar Bank AB (today, Folksam), focusing on cross-sales activities and increasing revenues across the insurance, banking products and loan portfolio.
In 2006, Nilsson moved to Hong Kong where he co-founded Lifestyle HK Ltd. He took on the role of Managing Director within the company, which later transformed into Lifestyle Asia.
Lifestyle Asia covers a wide range of luxury living, entertainment, and fashion topics.
In 2007, Nilsson was founding Partner at CRS Investment Group Ltd, where he focused on investing in and offering advice to tech startups.
In 2008, Nilsson relocated to Singapore to introduce the Lifestyle Asia brand to the affluent city-state.
