Ricardo Enrique Genovés (born May 14, 1999) is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher in the Tampa Bay Rays organization.

2015

Genovés signed with the San Francisco Giants in the United States as an international free agent on July 2, 2015, and received a $550,000 signing bonus.

2016

He made his professional debut in 2016 with the Dominican Summer League Giants, for whom he played 59 games and hit .256 with one home run and 18 RBI.

2017

In 2017, Genovés played for the rookie–level Arizona League Giants.

In 39 games, he posted a batting line of .252/.327/.356 with two home runs and 19 RBI.

The following season he played for the Low–A Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, and hit .243/.328/.311 with one home run and 13 RBI across 50 appearances.

2019

Genovés split the 2019 season between Salem-Keizer and the Single–A Augusta GreenJackets.

In 51 total games, he batted .265/.335/.469 with 9 home runs and 45 RBI.

2020

Genovés did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He began the 2021 season with the Single-A San Jose Giants and batted .338 through 38 games before being promoted to the High-A Eugene Emeralds.
