Raveena Mehta (born May 18, 1997, in Antwerp, Belgium) is an Indian-British singer-songwriter known for songs Jab Tu Hai Wahi, Keh Na Saku, Casanova, Aaja Mere Naal.
Mehta was born and raised in Antwerp until the age of 11, she moved to Mumbai in 2008, Raveena continued her vocal training and attended the American School of Bombay.
She pursued a Foundation Diploma at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design and completed her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London, graduating with First Class Honors.
Raveena's formal training includes western singing from vocal coach Kim Chandler and Hindustani classical singing from Suchita Parte.
As a child, Raveena showed interest in music and arts.
At the age of 5 years, her exposure to music was formalized through her school and by piano lessons.
She started formal dance and singing lessons through Coach Suchita Parte.
At the age of 12, Raveena released her debut album titled 'From Deep Within' in 2010, earning recognition from the BBC as the youngest Indian British singer to release a music album.
From Deep Within is a collection of 13 songs, of which five were launched with music videos, which were aired on music channels such as Vh1, SS Music, Zee Trendz.
Since 2017, Raveena has been a recurring guest at the Cannes Film Festival, walking and performing for designer Dimple Amrin.
Her career was launched by Sridevi Kapoor when she was 12, and in tribute, Raveena wore a custom gown at the Cannes Film Festival to honor Sridevi's life and achievements.
In 2020, Raveena launched her song Yaadein in collaboration with Avitesh Shrivastava.
Aaja Mere Naal in collaboration with Rishabh Kant, 'Jab Tu Hai Wahi' in collaboration with Rishi Rich and 'Keh Na Saku' with Rahul Jain and in 2021 Mehta lent her voice and recorded an acoustic version of 'Casanova' with Tiger Shroff.
