Prince Charles was born November 14, 1948.
In 1958, he was created a Knight of the Garter. In 1977, he was appointed a Knight of the Thistle.
In 1966, he attended Geelong Grammar School's Timber Top program for 12 months. The Timber Top program is a year of schooling in an outdoor environment with regular outdoor physical tasks and training. The Timber Top campus is situated in Mansfield in the state of Victoria, Australia - approximately 200 kilometers north-east of Melbourne.
His first military services appointment was in 1969. His favorite food is scrambled eggs and he likes to drink whiskey. He enjoys going to Scotland, UK; Klosters, Switzerland; and the Eleuthra in the Caribbean. He enjoys hunting, shooting, fishing, polo, skiing, painting, writing and reading.
Has been a fan of Peter Sellers since "The Goon Show". In 1975, after he had seen The Return of the Pink Panther (1975) in Montreal, he wrote to Sellers that he'd laughed so hard he had wet the dress of the woman in the next seat.
