Patrick Flynn

President of Catholic University's student theatre group Centerstage from 2000-2002.

Graduated from Catholic University in 2002 with a B.A. in Media Studies.

His play "Princess Mimi or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Frog" commissioned and presented by Contemporary Stage Company in Wilmington, Delaware. [July 2005]

In 2006, he became the first student selected by American University to be mentored by Oscar winning director Barry Levinson through their Alumni Mentorship Program.

Graduated from American University in 2007 with an M.A. in Film & Video.

Directing and co-writing (with Keith Powell) the web series "Keith Powell Directs a Play". [September 2008]

Patrick Flynn is an award-winning playwright, filmmaker, and webseries creator based in Washington, D. C. The Capitol Fringe production of his play 'Giant Box of Porn' was hailed by The Washington Post, Washington City Paper, and was named "Best of Fringe" by DC Metro Theatre Arts. He has received commissions from Adventure Theatre MTC, Flying V, Contemporary Stage Company, and his plays have been part of the DC Source Festival, the Kennedy Center's Page-to-Stage Festival, Bethesda Play-in-a-Day, DC One-Minute Play Festival, and New York Fringe. His web series I Live With This won Outstanding Series and Outstanding Writing at the 2012 L. A. Webfest.

His play "Giant Box of Porn" was hailed as "a comic hit" by The Washington Post, "a giant box of win" by Washington City Paper, and named "Best of Fringe" by DC Metro Theatre Arts. [July 2014].
