She is the current head coach of the South African women's national U/17 and the UJ Ladies F.C.

She's a former Banyana Banyana captain.

2010

Modiko captained the South African women's national team at the 2010 African Women's Championship were they won a bronze medal.

2017

In 2017, she was appointed the coach of the University of Witwatersrand Ladies F.C. In 2019, she made her Sasol Women's League debut with the team and guided them to a top five finish.

In her final season with the team, in 2021, she finished third in the league.

In 2022, she was announced as the UJ Ladies F.C. team's assistant coach.

In 2023, she took over as head coach.

In 2024, she took over the South Africa women's national under-17 team as head coach for the second round qualifiers for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers.
