Author and lyricist ("Gone Fishin'", "Love Letters in the Sand"), educated at Columbia University and the brother of Charles F. Kenny. During World War I, he served in the US Navy, then joined the US MS. He worked as a newspaper reporter in Bayonne, New Jersey, Boston and New York, and was a radio editor and columnist for the New York Mirror between 1930 and 1963, and produced an early radio amateur show.
