From 2015 to 2020, he was Director of Music at Keble College, Oxford.

In 2022, he was commissioned by the Choir of King's College, Cambridge to write a new Christmas carol for their annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols; the carol, "Angelus ad virginem", was based on a medieval Latin text.

In 2023, the choir performed his composition of new music for the familiar carol "Adam lay ybounden".
