She first rose to prominence in early 2024 among users of X (formerly known as Twitter) when pop music news aggregator account Pop Tingz shared a post promoting Ragbeer's 2023 album Perplex despite her previous lack of notoriety and limited social media presence.

Victoria Julia Ragbeer was born July 1999 to Indo-Guyanese parents, Seepersaud Ragbeer (1964-2022) and Anita Melinda Ragbeer-Rambarran.

Ragbeer began her music career at age 19, releasing the singles "Rejected" and "Upstairs" in 2019.

She released her debut EP, You Were Never Mine, in 2021, followed the next year by the gospel EP My Father.

In 2023, she her full-length debut Perplex.

The track "Older Guys" from Perplex was later released as a single.
