He is currently the senior national correspondent at Bloomberg Businessweek.

He is a weekly columnist for The Boston Globe and his work has also appeared in The Atlantic.

1994

Green graduated from Connecticut College in 1994 and earned a graduate degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 1998.

1995

Green began his journalism career in 1995 as an editor at the satirical weekly The Onion.

2000

From 2000 to 2001, he was a staff writer at The American Prospect.

2001

He then joined The Washington Monthly, where he worked as an editor from 2001 to 2003.

Green has also contributed articles to Slate and The New Yorker.
