2017

In 2017, he became the UCI Track Cycling World Champion in the men's individual pursuit in Hong Kong.

2018

Kerby was part of the Australian team that took gold in the team pursuit at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

He subsequently switched allegiance to New Zealand and took gold in the same event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
