Jim Londos was born on January 2, 1894 in Argos, Greece as Christopher Theophelus.

1912

He began his professional wrestling career in 1912 as Christopher Theopelus "The Wrestling Plasterer." He would come to the ring dressed in overalls. He would later drop the character gimmick and adopt the name "Jim Londos.".

1930

He became one of the most popular profession wrestlers during the 1930s and 1940s and his ring career continued until his official retirement in 1959.

1975

After his retirement in 1959, he moved his family to a 10-acre avocado orchard in Escondido, California. He would pass away in Escondido on August 19,1975 at the age of 81.

2002

Inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2002 (inaugural class).
