James Henry (born 20 March 1991 in Donegal) is an Irish footballer who plays for NIFL Premiership club Institute. He had previously played for Carrowmena in the Inishowen League.

2010

After signing from Carrowmena, he first appeared in Derry City's first team in 2010 as an occasional unused substitute. He made his competitive debut on 10 May 2010 in a 2–0 win over Finn Harps in the EA Sports Cup and his league debut came the following year as a substitute against Galway United on 16 October, the first of 2 league appearances that year. He went on to make 5 appearances for the club.

2020

In 2020 he got his next opportunity in senior football, signing for NIFL Premiership club Institute on 24 January that year. He went on to make his competitive debut in an NIFL Premiership defeat at home to Larne F.C. on 8 February.
