He plays the power forward position.

He played college basketball for Central Wyoming College and the Wyoming Cowboys.

He is the son of marriage counselors Mindy and Matt Dalton, and is originally from the small town of Parker, Colorado.

Dalton's sister Nicole was on the University of Texas Longhorns volleyball team.

He is the third of seven children.

He is 6' 9" (204 cm), and weighs 194 pounds (88 kg).

Dalton attended Chaparral High School.

As a senior, he averaged 11.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game.
