Born in Mamelodi, Lebese spent his early career with Jusben, Khona Lapho and Arcadia Shepherds.

2008

Lebese joined Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the 2008–09 season.

2011

He received his first call-up to the South African national team in November 2011, making his international debut against Ivory Coast on 11 November 2011.

2017

He signed for Mamelodi Sundowns in August 2017.

2019

He spent time on loan at Supersport United before being released in September 2019.
