1960

In the early 1960s, to show friends his amazing soccer skills, Best would flick a sixpence up into the air with his right foot and it always landed in the breast pocket of his jacket, to their utter amazement.

1963

He played for the following clubs in his career: Manchester United (1963-1974), Stockport County (1975), Cork Celtics (1975), Dunstable Town (1974-1975), Los Angeles Aztecs (1976-1978), Fulham (1976-1977), Fort Lauderdale Strikers (1978-1979), Hibernian (1979-1980), San Jose Earthquakes (1980-1981), Bournemouth (1983), Brisbane Lions (1983).

1965

He was an actor, known for Till Death Us Do Part (1965), Dream Team (1997) and This Boy's Story (1992). He was married to Alex Best and Angie Best.

1968

He won the European Cup with Manchester United (1968).

1970
