In 1949, he imported and trained a zebra stallion for riding.

His Wild Animal Show made it's debut in the 1950's which featured Larry Rucker, and his chimp, Pat Henry with his trained horse, Don McLennon with his dogs and Hiawatha Liberty act and Harriet Beatty (Albina Beatty Say) and her lions.

1969

In 1969 he sold his ranch to exotic animal trainer Ralph Helfer who renamed it to "Gentle Jungle" an Affection Training School that emphasized Love, Patience, Understanding and Respect. It was a three-phase program that took 22 weeks to complete.
