Besides television, Kemmer also played Commander Buzz Corey on ABC Radio's "Space Patrol" (1952-1955).

1958

He is known for his work on The Spider (1958), Space Patrol (1950) and The Dick Powell Theatre (1961). He was married to Fran Sharon and Elaine Edwards.

1959

Acted out the role of "Prince Phillip" in live action footage that was given to the animators to study for Disney's Sleeping Beauty (1959).

1960

A soap veteran in the 1960s and 1970s with regular roles on The Clear Horizon (1960), The Edge of Night (1956), Somerset (1970) and, notably, As the World Turns (1956).

1963

A fighter pilot during World War II, he was shot down over Germany, captured by the Nazis and put in a POW camp. He later successfully escaped from the camp, although he was recaptured two weeks later. The camp was the same one from which a breakout occurred that was the inspiration for the Steve McQueen film The Great Escape (1963).

1983

His final screen appearance was in the TV mini-series Kennedy (1983), after which he retired.
