He is the author of the novel Shelter for the Damned, , which iHorror 's Waylon Jordan named one of the best horror books of 2021.

The novel was translated into Spanish and adapted for audio.

Thorn is also the author of two short story collections: Darkest Hours and Peel Back and See.
