Devdutt Padikkal (born 7 July 2000) is an Indian international cricketer who plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket and the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

He made his India debut in the 2021 away T20I against Sri Lanka.

He has also played for the India under-19 team.

Padikkal was born on 7 July 2000 in Edappal, Kerala to Ambili Padikkal and Babu Kunnath.

2011

In 2011, his family moved from Hyderabad to Bangalore, where he began training at the Karnataka Institute of Cricket.

2014

Starting from 2014, he represented Karnataka in under-16 and under-19 age categories.

2017

In 2017, he was selected by Bellary Tuskers in the Karnataka Premier League.

He completed his bachelor's of business administration in St. Joseph's University of Business Management, Bangalore.

2018

He made his first-class debut for Karnataka in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 28 November 2018.

In December 2018, he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League.

He became the first player in IPL history to score three fifties in his first four matches.

He made his List A debut on 26 September 2019, for Karnataka in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
