David Edward Washington (born November 20, 1990) is an American professional baseball first baseman and outfielder for the Gastonia Honey Hunters of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles.

2009

Washington attended University City High School in San Diego, California and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 15th round of the 2009 MLB Draft.

2016

He played in the Cardinals organization until 2016.

On November 22, 2016, Washington signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles organization.

2017

On June 14, 2017, Washington was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time.

He made his MLB debut the same day, going hitless in a 10-6 Orioles win over the Chicago White Sox.
