David Tyrrell (born 6 May 1985 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish footballer whose last club was Bray Wanderers.

2005

Tyrrell plays as a left-sided midfielder who can also operate in defence. He played for Belvedere, Cherry Orchard, Rivervalley and Home Farm at youth level before joining Shelbourne. After impressing at the Under 21 level, he was promoted to the Shels first team before he was loaned to Bray Wanderers for both the 2005 and 2006 seasons in order to gain regular first team experience. Tyrrell finally joined Bray on a permanent deal for the 2007 season but he would depart Bray in July 2007 to join Shamrock Rovers.

2007

He made his Shamrock Rovers debut on 3 July 2007 and made a scoring league debut.

2008

Tyrrell was released on loan by Shamrock Rovers on 3 June 2008 after one goal in 16 appearances. He was signed on loan by Finn Harps on 4 July 2008 before he was released by Rovers prior to the start of the 2009 season. He signed for Athlone Town in April 2009, making 16 league and cup appearances for the club.

2010

Tyrrell returned to former club Bray Wanderers for the 2010 season.
