He played at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Doncaster, Castleford, Sheffield Eagles, Hull Kingston Rovers and Hunslet Hawks as a, and coached at club level for Hunslet Hawks, Leeds Rhinos (Head of Development/Academy Coach), and Warrington Wolves.

David Plange was born in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
