Daniel Soloducho Sprinberg (born 12 April 1954 in Montevideo, Uruguay), is a Certified Public Accountant, graduate in business administration, and businessman. During his career he has held managerial and/or presidential positions in numerous companies, is a consultant and advisor on business management and development, and founded the textile company Dancotex S.A.

Daniel Soloducho Sprinberg was born on 12 April 1954. In 1978 he was awarded the degrees of Certified Public Accountant and the Bachelor of Business Administration from the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay.

1973

He started his business activity in 1973 as owner and director of Typerary S.A., a company dedicated to the manufacturing of hairpins. A few years later, between 1979 and 1986, he held the position of general manager in the textile manufacturing company Paylana S.A. In relation to this field, he held the position of commercial manager in "Manos del Uruguay" (1986–1987), a social non-profit organization, member of the World Fair Trade Organization – WFTO, which offers jobs to craftswomen in the country's rural areas, to manufacture wool knitwear.

1987

Between the years 1987 and 2006 he was the Founder, director, and General Manager of the textile manufacturing company Dancotex S.A., a "Project declared of National Interest" by the Uruguayan Government.

1996

Mr. Soloducho was prized twice by the specialized business magazine América Economía. In 1996 he was granted the "Excellence of the Decade" award, based on the sustained success of the textile company Dancotex S.A. under his management, and on his capacity to face the challenge of business globalization in Latin America. In 1990 he received the "Excellence 90" award, an annual distinction granted to the best managers in each Latin American country.

2008

From 2008 to 2013 he held the position of Vice President of Operations, and is at present the Director of the company Starkist Food d´Or Ltd., rated by D&B as one of the 100 largest Israeli companies. He dealt there with planning, organization and operations control tasks.

2009

From 2009 to the present he is the manager and owner of the company Best K, with headquarters in Israel. Best K deals mainly with advisory services, investments, and import of food products for the domestic market.

2012

During the years 2012 and 2013 he was one of the Founders, Director and general manager of Top Chef Ltd., a manufacturing company of packaged frozen products of Kibbutz Eilon.

2013

In other areas, he has performed numerous functions. He was a member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel and President of the Social Help Fund of the Israeli Community in Uruguay. He was the President of Taglit – Birthright Uruguay and the Representative of Taglit-Birthright for Latin America; this is an organization that allows Jewish young adults worldwide to travel for 10 days to Israel to connect to their roots, and to the Jewish history and culture. He was also the President of the "Forum of the Eleven", a coordinating organization of the Jewish-Uruguayan community in the country. Likewise, he was the President of Keren Hayesod Uruguay, a non-profit organization dedicated to maintain the connection of worldwide Jewish communities with their origins. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the World Jewish Agency.
