Christina Liang, a. k. a. Chi-Hui Liang. Golden Melody Awards Winner and Nominee of Golden Bell Awards. A composer with a very diverse musical background. Christina starts her music life with piano at age 6 and later picked up electone (electronic organ) at age 11. 1990-1993 she studied traditional Chinese music in her native Taiwan, specializing in Er-Hu performance.
Seeking to expand her musical horizons, she came to the USA where in 1999 she got her BA in piano performance from Cal State Fullerton. Her passion for film music then led her to the famous North Carolina School of the Arts where she got her MM in film scoring. While in North Carolina, she scored numerous critically acclaimed student films including, "Safe Zone", "Noble Chrome Pirates", "Get Outta Here", "Clean Up" and etc. After her studies, she went back to Taiwan for a year where among other things, she scored an animated series for a local children station ETTV and she arranged lounge music for the TMSK theme-restaurant in Shanghai.
In 2002 she returned to the US to further refine her film scoring skills at UCLA extension in Los Angeles.
In 2003, she was working on the score of an animated short film called Story of a mother, a production by "Sleeping Hero" in NY.
At the end of 2004, she's working on the score of a short Chinese martial art film "Young Master" in San Diego, a production by digital pickles.
In April of 2004, Christina released her personal EP album "Vita Eterna", that is featuring music in the style of progressive world/world fusion. The music is in style of combining Western instruments and exotic instrument.
2005, She collaborated with her fiancé Chris Bitoun, who's also a composer, in a LA production indie film "Dushi" for its score. Spring of the same year, Christina was invited to give 2 speeches in National Taiwan University of Arts regarding film and multi-media scoring.
Fall of the 2005, she was hired back to NTUA to teach both Anatomy of film scoring and multi-media scoring. During the stay of teaching in Taipei, Chi-Hui has scored several commercials including Wacoal Bra, Misubishi motors, and etc. The same year, She has scored a TV drama "My grandmother is a ghost" for Taiwan Public TV.
2006 to 2008, Chi-Hui was the in-house composer & music director for TMSK band and Liu-Li-Gong-Fang company in Shanghai. After working nearly 2 years in Shanghai, Christina decided to return back to her home country Taiwan to for a Chinese Fusion band named "Vita Eterna" based on the debut EP album she put out in America few years ago.

She has scored more than 10 feature-films since moving back to Taiwan in 2008, and was nominated several times with all kinds of awards.
In 2009, Chi-Hui Liang and her band Vita Eterna released their first full album named "Beyond Boundaries" which has received 4 nominations and won 2 awards from "Golden Melody Awards" in Taiwan.

Since 2013, she starts to produce concerts and stage performances.
The most famous ones were "Taipei Map Micro Film Live Concert" in 2013, "A Dialogue between Ancestral Spirits-Taiwanese Aboriginal Rhythm, Music and Dance" in 2014, "Love in the Old Taiwan-Multimedia concert" in 2014 and "Carnation Love-Mother's Day Special Concert" in 2015.
And in the meantime, Christina has produced a debut pop music album for a talented Taiwanese aboriginal singer Sao Lam in 2016 and "Taipei Map Concert DVD album for Taipei Chinese Orchestra the same year. In the recent years, she has broadened her career by composing music for Taiwanese Operas, Modern Dance Theater, Puppet Theater and Interactive Arts. Her Latest Works include brand new published original composition/instrumental album "Eternal Journey" produced by famous Hollywood jazz music producer Jeffrey Weber, newly launched documentary features "The Road Less Traveled" (Ni Zhe) by Dreams Films Production and "The Port Chicago Incident" by Sierra Hotel Productions. Christina is working as a freelance TV/Film/Multi-media composer, touring and performing with her band "Vita Eterna" and teaching as a professor in National Taiwan Normal University and Tainan National University of Arts.
