Football manager; who has managed AS Nancy-Lorraine (1984-87), AS Monaco (1987-94), Nagoya Grampus Eight (1995-96) and Arsenal (1996-2018).

1987

Career honours: At Monaco he won Ligue 1 in 1987-88 and the Coupe de France of 1991. At Nagoya Grampus, he won the Emperor's Cup of 1995 and the Japanese Super Cup of 1996. At Arsenal, he won the Premier League in 1997-98, 2001-02 and 2003-04 (with an unbeaten season). He also won the FA Cup a record seven times in 1998, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2014, 2015 and 2017. As well as the FA Community Shield of 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2014, 2015 and 2017.
