Yoichi Doi (土肥 洋一) is a Japanese former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

He played for Japan national team He is the current goalkeeper coach J2 League club of Renofa Yamaguchi.

1973

Doi was born in Kumamoto on 25 July 1973.

1992

After graduating from high school, he joined Hitachi (later Kashiwa Reysol) in 1992.

1997

He battles with Ryuji Kato for goalkeeper position from 1997.

1998

However his opportunity to play decreased behind newcomer Yuta Minami from 1998.

2000

He moved to FC Tokyo in 2000.

He played all matches from 2000 until round 32/34 in 2006 season.

2003

In June 2003, Doi was selected Japan national team for 2003 Confederations Cup, but he did not play in the match.

2004

At 2004 J.League Cup, the club won the champions and he was selected MVP award.

On 7 February 2004, he debuted for Japan against Malaysia.
