Wirfin Y. Obispo Vargas (born September 26, 1984) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Olmecas de Tabasco of the Mexican League.

2002

Obispo was originally signed by the Boston Red Sox as an international free agent on January 20, 2002.

2003

He played in the Dominican Summer League with the DSL Red Sox as a shortstop before being released on November 3, 2003.

2004

On January 23, 2004, Obispo signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds organization.

2006

Obispo appeared in 14 games for the DSL Reds in 2006, recording a 4–5 record and 2.04 ERA.
