Will Moseley was born in Douglas, Georgia and grow up in Hazlehurst.

He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2023 with a degree in biology, where he also played football.

During the Covid years, Moseley worked at a printing company.

After college graduation, he played gigs locally which helped him pay some bills.

Moseley auditioned on American Idol season 22 in his hometown of Leesburg, where he impressed the judges with his original country song "Gone For Good."

Judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, who had to leave early, all gave Moseley their approval, propelling him into Hollywood Week.

During the Hollywood Week, Moseley performed "Whiskey and You" by Chris Stapleton, impressing both the audience and judges.

He was placed in a group with several other contestants, including Triston Harper and Scarlett Lee, where the judges announced that the entire group had advanced.
