American character actor, who began in silent films (1911) for D.W. Griffith's company and with Biograph. Alternated between screen work and the stage. At his peak he starred in a dozen or so cliffhangers opposite serial queen Allene Ray.

1932

He was an actor, known for The Last of the Mohicans (1932), King of the Wild (1931) and Queen of the Northwoods (1929). He was married to Eileen Schofield and Lillian Louise Coffin.

1940

Miller was at Republic Pictures, working on a Gene Autry western, Gaucho Serenade (1940), when he had a heart attack and collapsed. He died a short time later.
