1978

Hayama was born in Kanagawa Prefecture on May 20, 1978.

2001

After graduating from University of Tsukuba, he joined J1 League club Tokyo Verdy in 2001.

Although he played several matches as a full-back and defensive midfielder every season, he could not play many matches.

2003

In August 2003, he moved to J1 club Vegalta Sendai.

However, he did not make any appearances and the club was relegated to J2 League at the end of the 2003 season.

2004

In 2004, he moved to Japan Football League club Gunma FC Horikoshi (later FC Horikoshi), where he was a regular in the starting line-up.

2006

In 2006, he returned to his first club Tokyo Verdy, who were now in J2.

Once again, he did not make any appearances and retired at the end of the 2006 season.
