He represented New Zealand in Surf Life Saving at the 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 & 2022 World Lifesaving Championships.

2012

He competed in the 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Winning in 2012, 2014 and 2016.
