Steven Bradley Edlefsen (born June 27, 1985) is a former professional baseball relief pitcher who played for the San Francisco Giants in Major League Baseball between 2011 and 2012.

Prior to playing professionally, Edlefsen attended Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota and then Barton County Community College and University of Nebraska.

2004

He was originally drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 41st round of the 2004 amateur draft, however he did not sign.

2007

He was then drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 16th round of the 2007 amateur draft, beginning his professional career that season.

Edlefsen pitched for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in 2007, going 2–0 with a 1.62 ERA in 18 appearances.

2008

In 2008, he pitched for the San Jose Giants, going 8–5 with a 3.36 ERA in 40 games.

2010

In 2010, he pitched for the Grizzlies and went 7–2 with a 2.38 ERA in 49 games.

2011

On August 21, 2011, Edlefsen was called up to the Majors for the first time.
