Sonja Morgan is a television personality, fashion designer, and entrepreneur best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of New York City. Prior to joining the cast in 2010, Sonja had long been considered one of the most prominent "movers and shakers," beginning in the '80s as she balanced her studies at FIT with modeling around the globe. Sonja soon became a luxury brand consultant, and always had her finger on the pulse of the very best restaurants, hotels, and fashion. Restaurateur Sirio Maccioni of Le Cirque once said that "very few people have her talent in our business," and Esquire Magazine's John H. Mariani labeled her as "the straw that stirs the drink.
