Sergey Bermeniev

Sergey Sergeevich Bermeniev (Russian: Сергей Сергеевич Берменьев, born 8 January 1964, Moscow, USSR) — Soviet and Russian photographer, portraitist.

Meritial Artist of Russia.

The author of 11 books, several solo exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

Sergey Bermeniev born in 1964 in Moscow, (USSR).

After military service in the Soviet army, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University.

Since the end of the 1970s, portrait photos of characters of spiritual culture – not only Russian, but also world ones – have appeared in his archive.

The first portrait work in 1984 was a photo session with Elena Gogoleva.

Then followed the work on a series of photographs of the actors of the Russian theaters.

1986 – His photographs of Italian and French movie stars appears in Russian, French, Italian magazines.
