1966

Russ Jones entered films via comic books. He began working with the legendary Wallace Wood and was soon on his own, creating the popular black and white magazines, 'Creepy,' and Eerie. ' He then published 'Monster Mania,' (1966). That year he went under personal contract to Producer Anthony Nelson Keys, and became involved in re-writes for more than twenty features. After spending over a decade in the UK, Russ returned to America where he wrote 28 novels under the name 'Jack Younger.

2000

Painted covers for 'Famous Monsters of Filmland,' 'Monster World,' 'Castle of Frankenstein,' and dozens of paperback book and other periodicals. Did 'Portrait of Liz,' and Van illustration for Castlerock's production of 'Salton Sea' (2000).
