1982

In 1982, Yu directed The Postman Strikes Back.

The film stars Bryan Leung as the titular protagonist who is sent on a mission to deliver a cargo of four mysterious cases to a rebel leader.

1986

In 1986, Yu directed the Hong Kong action crime thriller Legacy of Rage. It was Brandon Lee's first lead role.
