He also attended the Gnessin Institute of Music in Moscow, and the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles.

He has studied with Miroslav Roussin, Zinaida Gilels, Pavel Vernikov, Viktor Tretiakov, Abraham Stern, and Alice Schoenfeld.
