Nick Meglin was born on July 30, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, USA as Nick Megliola.

1956

He attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. While in art school, he wrote several stories for Panic, a satirical comic book, along with Mad, Tales From the Crypt, and other titles. Mad offered him a full-time job in 1956, which he held until he was drafted into the Army; he returned to Mad afterwards.

1967

He is known for his work on Bowl Brummel (1967), Mike the Mimic (1967) and The Mad Magazine TV Special (1974). He was married to Lucille Guerriero.

1984

Since 1984, has been co-editor of MAD Magazine along with John Ficarra. [November 2003]
