Merhawi Kudus Ghebremedhin (መርሃዊ ቕዱስን ገብረመድኅን; born 23 January 1994) is an Eritrean professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team.

2015

Born in Asmara, Merhawi was named in the start list for the 2015 Tour de France, becoming one of the first two black Africans to start the Tour alongside teammate and countryman Daniel Teklehaimanot.

At the age of 21 Merhawi was the youngest rider in the race.

2016

He was named in the start list for the 2016 Giro d'Italia.

2019

During his professional career, Merhawi has taken six victories including three national road titles as well as the general classification and two stages at the 2019 Tour du Rwanda.

2020

He competed in the men's road race at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
