He debuted his music career with the album Ogo Priyo Bandhobi in 1980.

He received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 1994.

As a little boy, he saw his father Mosadder Ali Mia involved in music.

He went to Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand for treatment on May 19, 2004 with the help of Hanif Sanket, James, Baby Naznin, Izaz Khan Swapon, Andrew Kishore, Fakir Alamgir as well as other artists who raised funds for him.

He came back to Bangladesh on May 25, 2004 after his treatment.

2005

Khalid Hassan Milu (1960 – March 29, 2005) was a Bangladeshi singer.

On March 23, 2005 he was admitted to Monowara Hospital and died from liver cirrhosis on March 29, 2005, at 12:10 am.
