Knutsson faced the ISKA and future Enfusion strawweight champion Amy Pirnie at Yokkao 27 on October 15, 2017.

Pirnie won the fight by unanimous decision.

Knutsson participated in the 2017 IFMA Youth World Championship and won a bronze medal in the -51 kg event.

2018
